JTL M12M替换接收机设计用于从外形尺寸到功能全面兼容传统摩托罗拉/iLotus M12+和M12M定时和导航接收机,同时通过使用最新型号的第8代高端GNSS定时接收器提供显著的性能和功能增强和升级。该单元可以通过USB接口用作独立的GNSS接收机,也可以用作传统设备的即插即用升级接收机。
该模块被设计成可以简单地与传统接收器交换,从而立即提高定位和定时性能、冷启动和捕获时间、跟踪灵敏度、抗噪声性(尤其是多径和干扰抗扰性),并增加了一系列附加功能,如多GNSS系统接收。M12M替换接收机支持GPS、SBAS(WAAS/EGNOS/MSAS/GAGAN等)、Glonass、QZSS、北斗以及后来的伽利略全球导航卫星系统接收,并能够同时接收任意两个全球导航系统。该模块还包括智能软件,可感应车辆动态,并可快速自动调整卡尔曼滤波器参数以优化定位/定时,根据实际车辆动态优化性能。
M12M替换接收机还增加了通过3V缓冲器CMOS输出在迷你同轴电缆(U.Fl)连接器上生成高精度频率的能力,该输出可以生成用户可编程的GNSS同步频率,通常范围从1Hz到14MHz以上(保证10MHz)。
M12M替换接收机设计用于直接安装到流行的JLT Fury GPSDO以及流行的Microsemi/Symmetricom XLI服务器中,并可用于改造Fury和XLI单元,使其达到更好的功能集和性能水平。
M12M替换接收机也可以用作一个独立的、低功耗、尺寸和成本(SWAPC)的GNSS接收机/合成器,通过USB连接器为单元供电,它包括DIP开关以及7段码和状态LED,以便于配置和报告状态。
